New Rocket League DLC Supersonic Fury
Rocket League has absolutely EXPLODED on social media platforms over the past months and they have finally released some new DLC for us addicts.
Supersonic Fury features some new content to modify your vehicles as well as two new cars (Dominus and Takumi). A few other additions like tires, decals and paint schemes allow for even more customization for your vehicle.
They also added a new arena for play which looks pretty exciting from the preview that Psyonix released.
The DLC can be picked up on both the PSN Store and Steam for $3.99.
Besides the new vehicles there are a couple free goodies that came along with the DLC. There is a new stadium which looks pretty awesome. It reminds me of an Olympic Soccer field but with Rocket League’s twist included of course.
They also added a spectator mode so you can watch your friends matches as well as record them. There have been countless Youtube videos highlighting some of the best goals and saves and with this added feature, you will be able to get some even better angles of you making those awesome arials.
When I sat down to play with the new DLC I noticed that the new cars seemed to be a little bit faster then those that came with the game. This may just depend on which car you choose to play with but the DLC cars do resemble a American and Foreign muscle cars.
Rocket League is definitely coming into it’s own as a very popular and addictive game. The guys at Psyonix have definitely struck a cord with thousands of gamers world wide. It will be exciting to see where they take it in the future.
There has also been word that a MASSIVE Rocket League tournament will be taking place at PAX Prime and you can be sure that I will be participating!
